I have my X354 for three years now, well maintained and never had a problem.
Yesterday puling into the shed, the drive belt went, this AM see the Flat Idler must have froze and the belt dug into like others have seen.

Going to John Deer Parts Diag
I see in the main drawing,

#6 Pully AUC20590 OD= 76 mm, SUB FOR AUC11239; Flat Idler
#17 Pully AUC20589 OD = 101.60 mm, SUB FOR AUC11238; V-Idler

What im unsure of is there is another set of parts in the bottom right of the diagram,
AM138079 Flat Idler and V-Idler AM138080

Which is the most current replacement ?

Lastly, does any one know if the correct ones above are availiable in metal??

Yup, I don't know why I had the brain malfunction..
JD said it depended on the serial number of the tractor or something like that...

Turns out JD couldn't even bring up one of the parts in the diagram, kept reverting to the one it was supposed to replace...
Guess the new updated version is unobtainium
On a side note, wound up driving an hour (and had to take that off work to boot) to pick up the parts, and in the brand new bag for #6 was little plastic pieces.. Flange was broken...
I asked the parts guy if I could have one that wasn't already damaged... That was his last one ... Not comfortable with that transaction in many ways to say the least lol
Amazon Prime to the rescue...

Ordered another set to have on hand from AG lawn, lets se which ones I get

Happy Thanksgiving!
