I'm a fairly new owner of an X300 thanks to feedback from members on this site. I simply love the tractor. It cuts better than anything I have ever used.

My issue is the hose attachment clean-out procedure. What I have found is that is does mostly nothing to eradicate the grass accumulation under my deck. What is really does well is saturate the accumulated grass so that is pees green all over my garage floor.
I'm nearly ready to say the heck with it and just scrape the deck once a month like I did with my Craftsman.

Has anyone found any success with this clean-out process?

Thanks in advance for your response

I'm glad you're happy with your mower! I have found that deck wash out hose attachments rarely work. I use a pipe with holes drilled in it bolted to a galvanized steel strip to clean my mower. It works great! I use it on a push mower, so some modifications might be needed.

motorhead, that sounds like a great idea. Kinda like an undercarriage care wash. I think I'll grab a piece of pvc I have laying around, cap it, drill some holes, and add a hose fitting. Thanks for the idea!
