Hey guys. I am thinking about getting a new self propelled mower. I am leaning towards getting a new Honda. I don't know if I should get a HRR series or HRX. What do you think? Any input would be great. Looks to be about $100 difference in what I'm looking at.

The key differences are the mower deck, engine, Versamow system and warranty:

• HRR models use a stamped steel deck, have a 160cc engine, and 36 month residential use warranty. A mulching plug must be inserted or removed to switch between bagging and mulching.

• HRX models use a polymer Nexite mower deck [lifetime warranty], a 190cc engine and 60 month residential-use warranty. The Clip Director knob makes for a simpler changeover from bag-mulch-dishcarge.

Caveat: I work for Honda, but the preceding was my opinion alone.
Honda gives you a convenient page to compare features and answer questions you might have about what might best suit your needs.

Does anyone know if there are specials or promotions going on? I am officially looking for a Honda mower to call my own!!!

If you buy a Honda lawn mower between now and May 31st, and register your purchase with Honda, you'll get 1 additional year of warranty coverage.

I would go with the HRC216HXA if you have the money.
