I have an HRS21 in my garage that needs a complete refresh. Some of the wheels have split rubber. Question is, what is the best solution? I guess all else fails they can pry be used the way they are, sort of. I did look, new parts would be holy crap expensive. I saw on ereplacementparts, you can buy just the rubber for less. Has anyone else done this, taken the old black rubber off and stretched new rubber onto old wheels?

I had a friend that did his that way. The part number for just the tire is 42751-VA3-J00. They're the same ones used on the HR214, HR215, etc. They are about $17 each.

Soaking the replacement tires in hot water or using a heat gun will soften them for easier installation.
