Is it a filter or a pump, it has 2 wires to the connector.
What is it called and what is number, what does it do?

The gold looks like a filter, it comes from the tank, there is a filter before it.

I found out that it is a electric fuel pump.. So if the mower is working that don't need to be replaced. I think I will get one just to have..

no why you say flood? It is pretty dirty itis 10 years old, I will wash it up before I sell it.
