unknown brand ned help

found a lawn tractor in bulk pick up garbage called a monte carlo 8 anyone know anything. please write back cant find any info9142025566

That apparently was a store brand of Grants department stores. It could have been made by several companies. Gilson & MTD are two possibilities I've found. Are there any other numbers stamped into the frame on the mower?

I wish we could buy riding mowers today for only $428 as it's listed in that newspaper.

If we could buy one it would probably be a Chinese knock off of an $800 MTD.
