Well here it is. I have been waiting years to get this tractor. My grampa bought it new in 1994 from Aldridge-Durham Saw & Mower, Inc. For the first year he was to proud to use it, so it sat in the shed while my dad mowed his yard with a Craftsman. My grampa only used the tractor for a few years before he got sick. After that my dad and I were the only people to use the tractor. I have spent many hours mowing on this machine. It was the first tractor I learned how to operate. I estimate that there is less than 300 hours on the tractor.

The first set of pictures are from when it just was unloaded after sitting for 3 years. I was the last person to run this tractor. The reason why we parked it is the battery died and we just did not have the time to get another one.

The underside of the deck is just as clean.

The oil was changed every 25 hours. The engine is a 14 horse Onan built for Toro.

Now for the cleaner pictures. My grampa always kept this tractor clean. I could not stand seeing it dirty.

That sure looks like a tough, robust tractor; those old Wheelhorses were built to take a lot of hard work.

Gotta love them' Onan engines!:)

This tractor has mowed acres upon acres back when it was a main use tractor. I love this tractor. The Onan ran great last time I used it 3 years ago. I did get it to run for a few seconds today. Got to clean the carb before it will run.
 IMHO that was made back when Wheel Horse was still Wheel Horse despite the Toro name. Once you get it back in operating condition I'd bet it would still give your newer Deere a run for it's money. ;)

I know for a fact it will give that Deere a run for its money. Right now I have the carb soaking in carb cleaner hoping that will clear the blocked fuel line barb on the side of the carb.
