Toro 44" walkbehind does not run until you unplug connector to ignition switch. I bought another auto toggle switch to check and don't know if it was wrong type. Runs fine unplugged but as soon as you plug back up, it dies. Replaced coil, igniter, plug and pto switch. Any help is appreciated!!

Do you have any safety cut outs on that such as if you let go of the handle the engine dies? Could be one of them causing the problem. Might be disconnecting the switch takes the safeties out of the circuit.
There is no safety switch. T bar handle. There is a junction box that the ignition and pto wires go to. Have you heard if that goes bad? new ignition and that box runs around 90 bucks. Hate to keep putting money into finding possible problem.

Unfortunately I don't recall reading anything in particular in the forums. What's your model/serial number?
