Got this mower and ran fine but had to change out the carburetor. Now that I’ve done that it cranks right up but when I turn off the ignition switch it won’t die until I pull the plug wires.
many help would be greatly appreciated

did you have to unplug any wiring harness to do the carburetor job?
Will the engine kill if you purposefully activate a safety switch? Seat switch, parking brake, ect
I harnesses were unplugged
I’ve cleaned all of them with electrical cleaner though
No it won’t
Before I I changed the carburetor it would die when I turned the ignition switch off. It’s weird for sure

Did you accidentally bend any of the tabs on the plug you disconnected so it is not making up? The switch simply goes to ground in the off position.
