I have a Toro. It froze up due to not enough oil (my bad). I unfroze it by spraying lots of WD40 into the sparkplug hole. Now I can pull the starter rope okay, but even with a new sparkplug, it won't start. I don't think it's getting a spark.

Toto won't start

Thanks for the reply.
I realize that no compression is a distinct possibility. However,
  • Others have brought lawnmowers back from a low/no oil freeze up and they worked okay
  • lack of compression doesn't explain the lack of a spark.
Could the WD40 affect the ability of the coil to produce a spark?
