Pickd up a 1987 Toro 8-32 Model 56145...Only worked on 1 or 2 of these before...Just relized, when servicing it..that the blade spindle is Non - greaseable...No zerk...I bought it from orig owner..he never had any major parts replaced...Soooo, sorta wondering just how many years [27 so far] that these spindles and bearings, can last....Has anyne ever had to replace ? Has anyone tried to add a zerk..or somehow lube it..? I can't hear any noise from it...Just sorta bugs me...Not broke, Don't fix it, right !

We gave one to my neighbor down the road. He still uses it every week. Wonder if you could drill/tap the housing?? Haven't had to service it in a while, so kinda forgot what it looked like?

I was patroling Ebay..and saw the spindle bearing..HD sealed bearing...Never occured to me that Toro used this...I was thinking the housing was packed with [old dry] grease...and open bearings..Sooo, we can end this thread..No maintenence req'd.
{don't ya wish your Sears spindles could last this long !].
