No Spark. Have replaced plug and ignition coil. No luck so far. All external linkages free. Have tried isolating ignition kill switch. Do I need to remove engine flywheel to examine brake kill switch connection ?
Thanks for your prompt response, mower started up fine after I properly isolated kill switch (had to stop the engine by disconnecting the plug lead by hand!). Repaired a loose connection on the kill switch cable feed which seemed to be causing the problem. Cheers Dunlop65.have you just unhooked the kill wire from the coil and try it? Also, try a different new or known good used plug. Rare, but possible to get a new bad plug.
That can be a good character building experience if you go about it the wrong way....(had to stop the engine by disconnecting the plug lead by hand!). ...
