Hi All: I have a chance to pick up a 450 D reelmaster. Does anyone on this forum have any experience with this machine good or bad. This is quite a large machine with a lot of mechanical and hydralic moving parts. It seems to me there is a lot that can go bad or wear out and it may be expensive if it does. however I can't afford a new one so i may chance. All in all, I think Toro is a good product in general. Any advice on this would be helpful. thanks, Bob L.

I have no experince in these machines. But I do know that toro is a good company. If you can get it for the right price, and the price is pretty cheap then get it and by the time you put some money in parts, it will already pay for itself. The only thing is your time. Good Luck with it. Somebody on here should have experience with these machines.

I would look at it and see the condition and that should determine the price. If it is in good condition and the price is right I would get it. If it is not in such good condition and cheap and you don't mind fixing it I would still get it. Do you have any pics of it? Or any knowledge on it like condition or maintenance records (like oil changes, air filters Ect, These can generally tell you how the mower was treated) or hours or amount of usage etc?

Did you ever get the machine or still in the process of getting it?

I don't think I will get it. The seller is only asking 1500.00 so it's a great deal. However I don't really need it. I have the 325d Toro which is all I need. My turf is rough slightly less than one acre so it would be overkill for me to try a 11' wide reel type golf course mower. Isn't it weird how we (me) get the urge to buy something just because it seems to be a great deal. anyway its on creigs list " Inland Empire California. In Fontana Calif. Take care. thanks for the input. Bob L. 805-443-4017

Hey, things you learn on this forum, nothing is over kill and you can never have too many toys! Just joking. But you could get that thing done in maybe 15 minutes literally. That sounds like a pretty good deal too. Thanks Dusty
