Well, not exactly pets but they are part of the farm. The (13) chickens come bearing gifts. Nothing like getting fresh eggs every day. We average @8 to 10 a day and a dozen once or twice a week.

My Mom really wants to get chickens.. We cant though due to our dog who would kill them all or die trying (Not kidding here) But most of my friend keep them so we get plenty of eggs from them..

Once you eat home grown eggs you could never go back to even Organic "Cage free" Eggs from the store.. They just can't compare.
