I Have a TB200.Had prob with it staying running. I bought a new Carb, cleaned out the tank and made sure the filter in the tank was not stopped up also .cleaned out the fuel line while i had the tank and carb off also. Put everything back together and it cranked on first pull then shut off bout 30 seconds after. It will still continue to crank and run bout 30 seconds. I'm stumped?? any suggestions??

Does a Troy Built TB200 have a Thermal device on it?? I put a new carb on it runs bout 30 seconds then cuts off .I'm thinking more now that it's losing fire other than gas probs???

Try squirting carb cleaner in the carb when it's dieing. If it picks back up, it's a fuel problem. If that is a ebay purchased carb, all bets are off.

I've had better than 50% luck with ebay carbs. They either leak out the throat, run rough due to surging or run just fine. I have not had one that doesn't leak and won't run at all like what you have. Most sellers will give an instant refund and don't want you to send the gas filled carb back. Try another as an exchange.
