A friend asked me to fix his Swisher Ride King zero turn mower (three wheels). The orginal problem was the steering wheel had fallen off. When we were loading it into the trailer and lifted the front up, the entire front wheel assembly fell out of the support shaft that goes up into the pulley assembly. I got it all back together, but if you lift up on it, it starts to slide out again. I found some metal shavings and saw some wearing on the shaft to the pulley so i know something wasn't working right. I have never worked on this type of mower and I'm a little confused on the design of this mower. Can anyone give me any suggestions or information on this mower specifically the front wheel assembly.
