
Modern day parts counter guys just have no sense of adventure to voyage beyond what the computer says will work. On the other hand they are worried you might bring back a piece of charcoal (after hooking it across battery voltage on the switch side) and say the new part must have been defective.
That fix might have worked for my old Jacobsen rider. I would get the click click at times with it. I'm not too sure they don't already have a relay in the circuit feeding the solenoid on my LT150.
