Source for instructions to replace carburetor

Hi, I have a Craftsman self propelled lawn mower, 917.377200. It won't start and I've determined I need to replace the carburetor. I'm looking for a step by step set of instructions or video. Any ideas where I can find either or both of these on line? This would be my first attempt at doing this.

not sure about your particular model but you tube has plenty of videos
Thanks, I'll take a look.
I just did a quick search for any instructions for how to replace the carborator on your model and I didn't come up with anything of that sort.

You may want to take a look at the correct manual for your lawnmower at the link below if you don't have it already. It may have a few diagrams that could be helpful.

how do you know you need to replace the carburetor? Is it broken or cracked?

Thanks, I did have the manual and will be using it when I replace the carb.
It seems to be leaking gas from an unusual place so I'm fairly sure there is a crack there. Thanks for the reply!
Carburetors don't usually need replacing unless they've been sitting forever. My guess is that you may have a float that leaks gas into the throat of the carburetor, and that gas is leaking out of a bad gasket. I'd think twice about replacing a carburetor because they can get real expensive if you don't have a good used one on hand. Rebuild kits are only $15.
