I have a Scag 48 walk behind mower. After using for awhile it just stops cutting. After letting it sit (or cool) It will cut again. It was suggested that it was either the switch or clutch. ?

Welcome to the forum bpaulcv! :)

Here's Scag electric clutch trouble shooting information I found:

Probably the best plan of attack to sort it out would be wait until it gets hot and cuts out, then measure and see if it is still getting voltage to it. If it's getting voltage to the clutch, measure the resistance of the clutch windings. Might be they are opening up once hot.
