Safety switch problem

I have a Craftsman 917.271060 riding mower with a Kohler 14.5 engine and was mowing today when it quit! I checked all the switches I could and determined that the voltage from the ignition was not getting to the selonid, and checked the clutch switch and the switch right under the ignition, and they're OK. Is there another one where the transmission is? After I pushed it back to my garage and went to get tools it was "frozen" in gear and nothing I could do would release it, including pulling out the lever in the rear. I'm pretty handy but without an repair manual and diagrams to lead me to the right switches I'm hung up.

Looks like you have a seat switch on that too. You can find exploded views on the Sears Parts Direct Website:
