I need to buy some parts for a John Deere LT-166 W/42" Freedom Mower.

Local store charges full retail.

I don't need the parts right away so I would like to order from some place on-line that offers a significant discount.

Any suggestions.

and

There is a large selection of John Deere parts on Ebay.

I put the part number for the belt in the google search bar and got lots of hits. From $36 up to $112. Some good choices there. And the blades should be available from whatever source you find for the belt so as to save on shipping from dual sources.

I did a Google search also. I found one for $112.00 (on E-bay), but nothing close to $36.00.

I think the best price I found for the belt was $57.95

Where did your find one for $36.00?

I did a search and it came up as $36.00. When I re-did the search to get the location the belt that came up was not the correct one you were looking for, but a "john deere timing belt". Sorry.

Just curious--Is your deck serial number lower than 95000? At 95001 it takes a different belt for the same deck. Not sure what the difference is between the 2 belts.
