I am trying to restore a old Sears Roto Tiller that is powered by a Briggs and Stratton engine. The Spec, Serial and Code numbers were actually a black in color decal that was positioned on the crankcase. Now, it it all gone. Can anybody at all give me any Ideas on how to get the missing numbers ? I really want to get this restored .

Can you post some pictures of the tag or tag area and the tiller itself including all angle shots and engine shots as well as the ser/model# from the engine if you can find it as I have some stuff on those tillers.

Briggs usually stamped their numbers in the shroud around the area of the head on the old stuff.
