Hello all-

Just got lucky and picked up a 1969 JD100 with a plow blade, which I'll use for, well, plowing.

The question is, this dinosaur has no headlights, and since I live back in the woods and plow the driveway at night, they're kind of necessary.

If I pick up a cheap set of 55w driving/off road lights from the car guys, can the charging system support them?

JD did not make a model 100 in 1969 but did make a 110 and a 112. If it is either of those models headlights were an option so adding headlights shouldn't be a problem. I think the 55 watts might be on the edge of the electrical capacity and would stay with the small farm lights you can get at farm stores like Tractor Supply CO. You can get those in a halogen version. Roger

My bad... it IS a 110, according to the original manual that came with it.

Off to Tractor Supply it is, then. Thanx!
