Hi Everyone

I'm a brand new member living in the middle of Illinois Corn Country. I don't farm, we have a three acre plot on some of the richest farm land in the world.

I just purchased a John Deere x530 garden tractor. I'll use it to mow the grounds and hope to get some use plowing snow also. I have a weight for the rear end but am wondering about wheel weights and also chains. I understand traction is an on-going concern and want to maximize that.

I have lots of questions and I imagine once I get used to the forum I'll be fairly active.

Love the x530 so far! It's just had one shakedown cruise when it was delivered and one mowing experience. It did a great job as a mower.
