The chain just started slipping bad while I was ascending a hill. I noticed that the chain was very loose. I tightened the chain and still the chain would slip on the front sprocket.
I see a local shop has a sprocket in stock and I will attempt to replace it. Part # 786083 "Sprocket (18 teeth)".

My concern is getting the sprocket off and then reinstalled. Not exactly sure how it is held in place. The parts diagram for model 770A transmission shows 2 parts that butt up to the sprocket:
1) 780105A Bushing - Flanged
2) 780072 Race - Thrust

Any insight on performing this repair would very much appreciated.

I have corrections to make. It appears that sprocket is incorrect. The correct one is:
786048. There is also a retaining ring 792072 that is what needs to be removed in order to replace.
