There were a lot of similar ones made in that era. When my dad bought our old house in 1956, the sellers left behind a mower with a very similar deck, except there was a large nameplate on the front that said Red Bird. I have not been able to find any info on that brand, either. After the engine on that was accidentally ruined from hitting a small hidden stump, the deck and handles sat for a while until I came along as a child and started following my dad around with it when he mowed. My toy mower was not a little plastic thing.
