I have never seen a self propel set up like that ever. It looks like you got a great deal.

I had one like that. It wasn't the exact set up but it was a southerland. It was the exact same setup but was drove by belt. It was a good mower. Used it 4 seasons and sold it. When I got it it had a bad drive cable and thats it. $50 was made quick. I never could find parts for them. Must have went out along time ago.

I grabbed it just for show value, I don't know if it will run again tho. The engine has some grooves in the cylinder so it will need honed out. I might just restore it cosmetically as I bet it would be hard to find a Briggs with a side PTO.

That thing is awesome! And all the stickers are still in good shape.

yes it looked real rough when i got it after sitting for 4 years.

I've got a murray 25 but no pic

Have not seen one of those for a looong time. My grandfather had one I used on his yard, that thing was crazy. Like to have one myself.
