i have an old murray model # 0-3667 that i got from my grandparents. It cranks over and really really wants to start, but has no spark. I pulled the flywheel and cleaned it and the points but still no luck. Can someone give me any tips on how to get it started? I was told i might need to replace the magneto? If that's the case can someone point me where i can get one...thanks.

Welcome!

I would say either the condenser or coil is bad. Another thing to check is make sure the plug wire is not grounding out. I would start by replacing the condenser as they are fairly cheap.

If you feel ambitious, you can also try baking the coil in an oven @ 200 for an hour. Some have reported this method has gotten dead coils working again as it supposedly evaporates any condensation built up inside.

If you write down the model number of the engine, you shouldn't have any trouble finding parts online or at a lawnmower shop.
