The lawn tractor is a 54 inch cut, 26 horsepower B&S powered unit that I bought new about 4-1/2 years ago. There is an anti-sway rod connected to the back of the mower deck that I believe goes to a bracket bolted to the rear end housing. Two years ago the mount came loose and fell off of the rear end housing, luckily I found it and reattached it. It came off again recently and there was no way of finding it. I figured that I'd look at the new Craftsman mowers and measure the piece to make a new one - wrong.
Somewhere along the line they did away with the little mount and added a crossmember which now holds the solid end of the antisway link (apparently I wasn't the only one to have a piece loosen up and fall off.) Does anyone know if I can get the new crossmember and rod as a retrofit and what the part numbers would be?
