Brand new member looking for some advice (or maybe a lot!). A friend gave me an old Snapper (from the 90's I think). It doesn't have a carburetor or breather. We can't seem to find the right ID on the chassis. (Got the one on the engine - 9 hp Briggs and Stratton.) Want to restore it but really don't know where to start. Any advice?

Any will be greatly appreciated. WandK

Old Snappers are great machines. The numbers you found on the engine will get you pretty much all you need to get it up and running. Just refer to Briggs and Stratton’s web site to find manuals and parts list for it. Keep us posted on how things go for you.
