Im early getting around to yearly service, I have much lined up for Winter projects, so, yesterday I full serviced the JD-355-D.
R&Ied the mower deck, installed new front scalp gaurd wheels, new blades, greased as needed.
Changed oil, oil filter, fuel filter, and air cleaner filter.
Before I did the service I pressure washed the unit and last night I hand polished the tractor. the hood was starting to oxidize.
This has certainly been a excellent lawn mower and tractor over the years. I bought it new. 632 hours on it now

You've kept it in fantastic condition!

That's a great generation of 'Deere, very nice machines to operate.

Touch up the deck and people will think it's brand new.

The attachment that I bolt on to the deck for the commercial vacuum tends to rough up my yellow paint. I dont vacuum the yard during grass cutting but I get a ton of leaves in the Fall. It takes four time over the hole place in the Fall.
