I was lucky enough to pick up 3 machines this week from a guy looking to get rid of them; a model 7268, a 7261, and a 8230. They are in fair condition and will make good projects.
Here's my question. I am trying to determine the age of the 7261 and the 8230. When I look them up on the mfr site or parts look up sites, they appear to be 1972 models. However, both serial numbers begin with a 6, which would indicate 1976 models. Does anyone have any information that would be helpful?
