I just picked up a free Ariens YT10 ride on and am in need of a manual.
anyone know were I can get a copy ??
It has had the motor replaced with a 14HP Honda, Kind of a butcher job but hey it works.
The problem I have is with the Trans It won't go into or out of gear.
The wheels will not turn in the same direction one wants to go forward the other reverse
Anyone got any ideas???

I did not find any free manuals. But here is one posted on Ebay:

Depending on the transmission you've got, spinning one tire by hand and seeing the other go the opposite direction with it jacked up might be normal for it.

Been doing some preliminary investigation and the last owner was telling he was pulling a 4'x8' load of fire wood when it stopped running.
I have tried to get the shifter to work but it seems jammed in neutral. But the wheel will not move together in one direction.
I think maybe the shift mechanize may be jammed in between gears.
i am hoping i can drop the rear end and maybe pop it back into gear and go from there.
