i went to a pre sale inspection at an auction ,it is lx 255 john deere rider., it was purchased at a dealer about 8-10 years ago, wasn't used alot just about an acre of grass mowed thru the summer, looks almost new, very well maintained. wondering an approximate value . wish i could post a picture but i can't at this time so a ball park figure will do if possible

From the condition you described I'd say it's somewhere in the $1000-$1200 range.

I'll second Wayne's thoughts on that. I would also make guess of somewhere between 400-600 hrs on it but that is a very big guess. MSRP when new around $3500.
