Own a John Deer Cap? Then you probably have the Mower too! Share some photos of both! :)

Brad thats a good looking tractor and yard.
Well, here is my John Deere LT190, along with a couple of accessories. One is an optional lawn sweeper, good far picking up and hauling clippings, leaves, etc. The other is the full featured remote operator. No wires or remote control necessary. Usually operates well with voice recognition, though occasionally doesn't recognize or follow the instructions as spoken. Have never been able to get it to understand the simple command, "OK, get off now, it's my turn to drive the tractor!". All in all, it's better to put up with the quirky symptoms and behavior than try to get by without it.
Never heard of that kind of tractor Brad. But I really do like it. Your yard is real nice looking too. Very good equipment. And is that the wife on the tractor! When are you going to buy 2?

I love your yard! :D And your JD.

Oh, boy! 1 wife is enough for me!

I do have another rider, though. A John Deere STX38 that I use. Nice little workhorse.
Here is my JS 45. I like the drive mechanism. It is good overall, but I am retiring it to camp. I bought it new at the dealer, over going to Lowes. I am glad I did. I liked the way I was treated at the dealership.

That's a nice mower and a good looking yard too. I also prefer the dealer over the box store any day of the week.
How do you like the swivel wheels on the front? I heard people say that it is harder to mow strait rows with the swivel wheels, is that true?
Here is my pride and joy...2000 345 with the bagger and dethather..shes mean looking

Here is my new JD X300 and my 1998 JD LT166 that I bought new. Still runs great. I needed a bagger and JD wanted to charge me $2000 for a new deck and bagger. For less than $1000 more I bought a new machine. Going to clean up the LT166 and sell it.

Good looking machine, Way95. I have always wondered how those Freedom mulching decks cut.
I has an awesome cut quality, but I don't like sharpening those mulch blades.

Mulch blades can be a PITA some times. I have been running the standard blades on my X520 which are pretty good. I have a way to mulch leaves with out a mulch kit, it just takes extra time.

I have a few things Green and Yellow and I use all of them as I have 5 acres to mow every week from early March to the end of November some years. The 2305 is used on the pasture and the yard around the house. The L120 is used to trim around the place and early season mowing when the ground is to wet to support having the 2305 on it and the JS 36 is used to trim around the trees and down the fence lines. Of course on those cool evenings I have to have some heat in the shop and the JD heater is perfect for warming the shop.

Now how did Rocky get in there :D He is doing his favorite habit. Grabbing the empty dog food bag and making sure it was truly empty. Oh well the bag is green. ;)

Just realized I had not posted a larger photo of mine here.

It's an 2002 LT150 with hydraulic transmission, CV15 - 15 Hp. Kohler single cylinder engine, 38" Tri-Cycler deck that I run a mulch kit on over 95% of the time.

Here's a more current picture of my X520.
It will get a bath in a few weeks.

Why give it a bath? It looks fine to me....:D

Well compared to some other John Deere's floating around on the web, mine is dirty. In the picture you can't really tell it is dirty but up close it is a nice layer of dust and some mud.

Mine only had about 40 hrs on when I took the photo in 2004 and I had just waxed it. As I recall a few weeks before that I'd got caught in the rain and had grass and mud plastered all over it. Thus after washing I took the opportunity to put on the wax.

It's seldom as pristine as the photo and in reality has not seen any wax since then. :D Just not enough hours in the day. ;)
