JD GX345 Blowing Oil Into Intake

Hello all I have an issue with a JD G345 with a Kawasaki FD611v Engine every few minutes it will start smoking really bad for about 15 seconds then run fine....I found that there is oil coming out of a tube from the crankcase into the intake kind of like a pcv and just burning the oil I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem or could give me some ideas on a fix.
Thanks In Advance,
Mike

Yes I have but with another model Kawasaki engine. My Kawasaki engine was a FJ180V. The problem was the head gasket was blown and putting combustion pressure into the crankcase. Pretty easy fix and the gasket was less than 5 bucks. The newer gasket is slightly thicker so be sure you get your valve adjustment correct. You will know it is too loose when the recoil starter pulls extremely hard.

OK, it looks like I will be going through this procedure on my FJ180V. Is there anything tricky I need to watch for? Never done a head gasket before, but I successfully adjusted the valves on my '67 Firebird back in 1989 or so!
