Hi,
New around here! Just bought and am restoring a '67 Jac Victor reel mower. All I really am missing is the chain guard...anyone know where I might be able to find one? Don't care about condition as I can restore it. Post, or e mail me. Thanks all. Rick

:welcome: to MLMF. Love the old Jakes myself. If you could share a picture or two, we'd like to see your Victor. You might try giving these folks a call. They have come through for me on some of the old seals and gaskets for vintage Jakes I have. Who knows, maybe they have a chain guard in their warehouse.

Will also try and post a pic or two...I have it in my shop at work, after a new coil, it popped off and runs great. I just took the bedknife and a couple other parts off. Blasted, urethane filled the pits (yes, I am crazy). Now tomorrow I will urethane orange them to match the Jac orange, except this paint will last a hundred years or so. Next week, going the reel and bedknife...
