Here are two different Jacobsen Engine Service Manuals.
One is for 1959 and 1960 engines, and covers the following models of those years:
J-100
J-125
J-175
J-225
The other is dated 1966, and covers these models:
J-100
J-125
J-175
J-225
J-321

The manuals include Service and operation, Engine trouble shooting, Service data, Minor and Major overhaul instructions. They also show exploded diagrams of the engines, but do not list part numbers.

text searchable versions of the manuals

Thanks for the Jacobsen manuals.

I put the sections back together and OCR'd them so that they're text searchable. I doubt the forum supports files of the size they become (most don't) when OCR'd (25Mb for the 1959, 10Mb for the 1966 version. I'll give the smaller 1966 one a try first.

An attempt with the 25Mb file got a message that 16384Kb is the max. So, I had to split it back up into two sections. Page numbers in the file name are pdf page numbers, not paper page numbers.

Can you tell me how I can find out what year my mower is? I have a Jacobsen 3hp 24 Elite with a Tillotson carb. There are no tags on it.
