Replaced plug no help. Sometimes it will start and run on the first pull and other times there isn't any spark at all. I disconnected the kill wire from the coil and there still isn't any spark, so I know that it isn't the kill switch causing the problem. My only other option are the coil and the flywheel. Any ideas how to identify the culprit. Honda parts are too pricey just to throw parts at it. Thanks

I'm no mechanic, but you might check the cotter key on the flywheel. If it's starting to sheer, it might throw the timing off enough to be intermitten until it lets go completely. Another thought it the sparkplug wire might be cracked. Good luck!
