I have a Honda HRR216TDA that is a 2005 and was wondering, would it make sense to change the belt? Do belts stretch and by changing the belt does it help performance? Or am I wasting my time?

Yes, belts do stretch. But if theres still tension on the tensioner spring and the belt isn't frayed or cracked, it is still serviceable.

In case you ever wondered what all those letters and numbers, HRR216TDA, meant...

HR = Honda Rotary
R = Rear Discharge
21 = 21" Cutting Width
6 = GCV160 engine
T = Three Speed Transmission
D = Recoil Start with Flywheel Brake
A = U.S.A. Market
