First Time user of this site with a question on how to get my lawnmower running again. My right shoulder is now numb from pulling the cord all weekend with no luck of a start.

Problem: My brand new (yes, brand new only used 5x times this year) lawnmower won't start. I suspect having read these forum entries that it might have to do with the stagnant gasoline in the tank. My guess is the same gas has been in there for 5-6x weeks now.

To date, I have poured 2 ounces of mechanic in a bottle into the tank (after it was emptied)...let it sit for 4 hours...put new gas in there and still no luck!

The awesome piece of machinery is a Toro 22in Recycleer Lawn Mower (Model No 20370.

Does thing even have a primer bulb? I've looked everywhere but can't locate. Again, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site!

If it has a primer bulb, it should be located near the carburetor. Follow the fuel line and you should come across it. If you find that it has one and your prime it and it starts, great but if not, see below.

It sounds like the carburetor may have gotten partially plugged due to the fuel. I would first drain the fuel out put some fresh fuel in, pull the sparkplug and confirm it's not saturated in fuel, re-install and see what you get. If that doesn't do it, then the carburetor may have to be cleaned but first see what you get with some fresh fuel and a clean plug.
