I recall reading about facing the open end of the spring/wire that holds the float valve pin a certain way.It does not seem to matter but try turning it the other way. John aka qlty

I've rebuilt a dozen or so of these and 75 % I have to take back off on go through agin because they flood ? now i follow all the instructions too the letter but just cant seem to find out why they do this they are a simlple carb and with all the spec's followed Im lost as to why. as far as motors I just love them except for this carb thing thats driveing me NUTS! PS I always bench test with gas and no flooding untill the engine runs a few mins.
