I've taken apart tires before and they have all been like thisI think you are in for some sticker shock..... You might be thinking of wheel barrow tires. $40 and up is what I believe you will be looking at and that's not including the rim! But, if you can get wheels and rims that cheap, I'd say go for it. Tubes are @ $12 and up +-. Just cut the valve stem off the rim and break the bead and work the tube in. You may want to make sure you don't have anything sticking in the tire though so it won't poke through the tube. AND, hopefully someone didn't slime the tire or you'll be in for a nasty clean up.
I may still do that, I want to built a small wooden trailer and may keep the tires for that..

I've been there and done that other then it was my uncles rider and was driver error. :banghead: I was a young teenager at the time helping my grandfather work on it. Grandpa was running some cleaner through the carb and I was driving it around in circles on the blacktop with nothing better to do while waiting to see if the engine smoothed out as the cleaner run through it. We had it back to running good and my grandfather waved me back into the garage. The problem was the tractor I was used to riding on the farm had a pedal like the accelerator of a car. Push to go and raise your foot to stop. My uncles rear engine rider (a True-Test) had the combo clutch and brake pedal. I made a quick turn and headed into the garage. The problem was after riding around with my foot laying on the pedal in a quick reflex forgot I had to push it to stop and then panicked. The old block garage did not move much when I went into the side of the door after a Fred Flintstone feet on the ground braking attempt failed to stop me. The engine was still running well until it spun the tires still trying to move and stalled. Fortunately just made a small dent in the foot rest. Scared the crap out of me though and my grandfather looked a little peaked as I was headed right for him before veering in the door frame. Little incidents like that help to keep life interesting for us.
I watched a neighbor poor almost a full jug of lighter fluid on his charcoal and then throw a lit match from a safe distance..Yeah, don't feel bad, I did something stupid last week too. Had my little Weber Smokey Joe grill sitting out on the patio table with some charcoal lit in the chimney. My buddy called me up and I was talking to him on my cell phone while I was trying to dump the lit charcoal into the grill. A couple pieces fell out and landed on one of my wifes patio chairs and I stood there in shock as they burnt through the cushions. All I could think as I stood there and watched like an idiot is "oh my god, shes going to kill me!" Luckily, it was my birthday that saturday, and sunday was fathers day, so she tried to just let it go, but she was like a tea kettle, I could see the steam coming out of her ears
Not to beat a dead horse, just keep this one in the back of your mind.
