I have a 3 year old machine that has done a wonderful job of our lawn without any major problem - until 3 months ago!!
It seems that after about half an hours use it decides enough is enough and the sensor signal operates continuously and the auger disengages. Up until this time all systems operate as they should with emptying of the hatch etc as normal.
The machine has been serviced regularly, kept sharp and cleaned.
Our local service team have tried to come up with a reason but I am losing confidence in their ability as it just costs us more each time which is annoying. I have suggested to them it may be getting too hot, but they dispute this.
I can restart almost immediately but it will signal again within 30 seconds and so it continues.
Any knowledge as to how this can be overcome would be very welcome.
