My HR 214 with the 2 speed transmission was really smoking, but still ran and started. Driving by a garage sale and spotted a Honda so I stop and see that it is a 216 comercial with the hydro transmission, really beat up, filthy & missing some external bits and pieces but for ten dollars figured I could maybe make it work on my 214 Deck. Cleaned it off at local car wash and started dismanteling both mowers. The poweunit off the 216 bolted right up, and runs great (no Smoke) put on a set of mulching blades and I now get a couple more years out of my Honda and it dosent bog down in deep wet grass. P.S. I need to find a recoil starter for the 216, using a rope is O.K. as a temp. set up.
