Here is a general guide on how to install artificial grass:
  1. Start by removing the existing grass or other plants from the area where you'll be installing the artificial grass. You can use a sod cutter, a shovel, or a combination of both. Make sure the area is clear of any debris.
  2. Next, you'll need to level the ground. You can use a rake or a hoe to remove any bumps or high spots. If you have a large area to cover, you may need to use a sod roller to compact the soil.
  3. Install a weed barrier fabric to prevent weeds from growing through your artificial grass. The fabric should be placed over the entire area and held in place with stakes.
  4. Spread a layer of crushed stone or gravel over the area. This will provide a stable base for the artificial grass and also help with drainage.
  5. Unroll the artificial grass over the area, making sure it's positioned in the right direction and is smooth and wrinkle-free.
  6. Use a power broom or a stiff-bristled broom to brush the artificial grass fibers upright, this will help the artificial grass stand up and look more natural.
  7. Use a turf cutter or a utility knife to trim the artificial grass around the edges of your space.
  8. Apply a layer of infill over the artificial grass, this will help to keep the fibers upright and also provide cushioning.
  9. Lastly, you'll want to use a leaf blower to remove any debris or dirt from the artificial grass.

To install it, you'll need to prepare the ground by removing any existing grass and weeds, leveling the soil and compacting it. Then you'll want to lay a weed barrier and add a layer of crushed stone to help with drainage.
