I recently purchased a sears craftsman 20" 11 cu inch mower. The model # is 143-227012. Serial #13-61c. I think it is a 1971 if my searching is correct. Also I think the Tecumseh # is 110-151001. What I don't have is the (engine break)
There are so many on ebay I don't know which one to buy. The deck is made from magnesium which I think looks great. The engine break I refer to is the spring that fits behind the pull start gear so when the engine starts the gear disengages from the motor flywheel. Hoping for any help in this regard.
Thanks

Gosh, it looks like it's brand new! Are you planning to use it, or hang it up as a piece of art work?

I actually bought it to use at my 5th wheel in the summer time. The guy that owns the park provides a mower but it seems almost everyone has there own. Haven't got it running yet so fingers crossed. It is very light weight so it will work very well I hope.

Light weight is right! I believe your model has the magnesium alloy deck. Watch out for big rocks!
