Got an email from our son-in-law regarding a Honda mower. Was asking my opinion on this specific model:


What do you think about a Honda Harmony 215 mower, 8 speed self propelled, for $130? I saw it on craigslist, and thought that sounded dirt cheap.



Comes with Mulch blade/plug/extra blade/bag. Worth the price?

I'd definately say it's a swell deal if it's in good condition. One thing to look for is exesive vibration that could signify a bent shaft like mine had.

The GX140 overhead valve commercial grade engine is a fantastic motor. I'm not aware of a "8" speed however.

If you'll get the serial number off the back f the mower deck near the right rear wheel, it's in the form of MXXX-1234567" I can look up history in for you.
