For all us die-hard Honda Fans, I can leak a bit of information today:

Wednesday afternoon of this week, Honda will be presenting an update on new L&G products to select members of the press/media at the Green Industry and Equipment Expo meeting in Louisville, KY.

As you may know, the OPEI/GIE is a the largest lawn & garden and green industry trade show in the USA, and their annual show starts this week; check out the details here, and look for an formal reporting and announcements at these publications after that:

Grounds Maintenance
Power Equipment Trade
Consumer Reports Lawn & Garden News
Outdoor Power Equipment Industry
Lawn and Landscape
Popular Mechanics Blog

Please note Honda will not post anything official on any Honda site for the time being. Any new product information will be reported by the media/press for right now...

[email protected]

Caveat: I work for Honda, but the preceding was my opinion alone.

Honda rubs shoulders with some fairly impressive industries ! I still yearn to see a Honda tractor with a FEL and equally equipped ballast (like a brush hog or tiller) ;)
Thanks Robert. We'll be watching to see what comes out.
How was the show Robert? I see there has been a release on the Honda media site. Electric start versions have been added, as well as other changes and improvements.

Wow! Thanks R at H, those are pretty nice. I know a few guys here who will be really excited to see these.
Adding the Clip Director (Mulch/Bag) feature to the HRR models is huge.

Adding electric start to the HRR models is also pretty sweet. The on-board battery for all electric start models gets charged from the engine...no more external wall charger.

All Honda mowers sold in the USA are still manufactured in North Carolina. This includes casting engines all the way to final packaging.
Very nice features. So nice that they're still made in North Carolina too.

What is the wattage of charging coils on the electric starts?
Cool!! :)

Thanks for posting all of the detailed photos of all the models and new features! This is fun to look at.

The Clip Director looks like a neat new feature! I'd love to try it out. The Roto-Stop control looks new as well on the Smart Drive models.

Thanks for giving us an inside look! This is great!

I can image that Honda's R&D department would be a fun place to work to be able to test these kinds of things! :)
