I am a native of and live in Mobile County, in the southwest corner of the state. I am excited about being here because I discovered the value of forums a few years ago while working on my old hobby car and now find myself using forums for all of my major tasks. Last year I refurbished an old $100.00 Snapper 33" rear engine rider, which went very well with help from the internet forums, ebay, and Google. It has been like having a new mower this summer and for all practical purposes it is a "new" mower, to me, and my total outlay was less than $300. including redoing the 12.5 Briggs on it. At this time I am having a time dealing with weeds in my lawn, like never before in the 34 years I have owned my house, and I look forward to accessing information from other members of this forum.
